Microsoft Teams is the hub for Teamwork in Microsoft 365. In this 2 day Microsoft Teams course, you will learn how to effectively work with Microsoft Teams so everyone can be more engaged and effective every day. In this class, you’ll find tips to make the most of Microsoft Teams for various functions in your organization including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Engineering and Project Management. It covers everything admins need to know about Microsoft Teams as well, including how to plan, deploy and manage Microsoft Teams within your organization and is Ledet Training’s enhanced version of Microsoft’s official MS-300T03 – Enabling Microsoft Teams for Collaboration course.

This course includes the content of Microsoft’s official MS-300TO3 – Enabling Microsoft Teams for Collaboration course so it is also appropriate for the Microsoft 365 teamwork administrator role.  The role is responsible for configuring, deploying, and managing Office 365 and Azure workloads that focus on efficient and effective collaboration and adoption. They manage apps, services, and supporting infrastructure to meet business requirements. The administrator is aware of and can differentiate between products and services but may not directly manage each product or service. The Teamwork administrator must be able to deploy, manage, migrate, and secure SharePoint (online, on-premises, and hybrid), OneDrive, and Teams. The Teamwork administrator has a fundamental understanding of integration points with the following apps and services: Office, PowerApps, Flow, Yammer, Microsoft Graph, Stream, Planner, and Project. The administrator understands how to integrate third-party apps and services including line-of-business applications.

Suggested Prerequisites
This introductory level class is designed for general IT workers who will be using Microsoft Teams. As such, no previous experience with Microsoft Teams is necessary.

For system administrators attending this class for the purpose of passing the Microsoft exam, the following prerequisites are useful:

  • Basic understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Basic understanding of mobile device management, and alternative operating systems (Android and macOS). 
  • Some experience with Windows PowerShell is helpful.

Module 1: Plan a Microsoft Teams Deployment

This module is all about planning for Microsoft Teams. It discusses how users will authenticate to use Teams to best practices for deploying teams in your organization.Lessons

Module 2: Configure Microsoft Teams

This module explains how to set up and configure Microsoft Teams. It discusses the use of tabs, bots and connectors in Teams. It introduces concepts related to managing meetings in Teams.Lessons
